Episode #4 – Wet Dog and Disconnected Vacations
Shout out to Bob and Mark from Canadian Podcast Buffet who decided to declare December 1st as the (great) Canadian National Podcast day. Great incentive to get me off my ass once again to put together an episode that was sitting in my “podcast audio” folder in the form of multiple clips I recorded over the summer. This episode starts off in a dog park with Riley and I getting caught in a downpour.
I talk about exploring comfort boundaries and dealing with the consequences as well as what it’s like on my first disconnected vacation.

Totally enjoying this episode – glad Cdn National Day of Amateur Podcasting prompted you to get this show out. Easy to listen to – you’re a natural, and I just wish you’d do this more often. As a father myself, I especially enjoy hearing you talk about your children and family life. It’s warm and intimate, as it should be.
Okay, the show’s over now – when’s the next one coming out? Ya ya, I know, you’re a busy man, but you can get started anyway…
Fantastic show, Rick. It reminded me that I have a cache of audio from our own disconnected vacations at cottages and lakes this summer. Time for me to pull that stuff together in a retrospective piece of my own.
Thanks for the great and authentic podcast and for participating in the CNDOP. See you ’round the neighbourhood, soon… I hope.
Safe travels this week.
Mark
Thanks Dude and Mark.
I am already editing the next episode – got some more stories lined up already.
I guess I should get listed officially in the Directory.
Both of you have been keeping me company on my travels as part of my feed to inspire me to publish more.
